iMAGECLOUD – celebrates 100,000 campaign milestone in record timeposted on 17 August 2017
Game changing property photography software company Imagecloud recently notched up an incredible milestone. They have now delivered 100,000 real estate campaigns to businesses around Australia in just under two years.
Fotovision currently employs 20 in-demand independent property photographers through Imagecloud who have delivered outstanding results.
The specialised software at the heart of Imagecloud greatly simplifies the process of retouching, storing, sizing, and delivery of images and digital asset management for companies like Fotovision. This helps to make photographers more efficient during post-processing tasks, and delivers assets to agencies faster which has been instrumental in Fotovision’s success.
To date, Imagecloud has delivered 1.4 million photographs to more than 6,000 real estate agents throughout Australia, making their software a clear leader in the field.
Fotovision general manager Stuart Ats says Fotovision currently services over 700 clients within South Australia. “We needed a high quality, dependable, scalable white labelled solution software to provide a one-stop solution for all of our image handling needs, from the photoshoot on site through to the high-quality image presentation to the vendor,” he says.
“On some days we can process through our chosen retouching supplier over 800 images, by 20 different staff to over 80 agents and Imagecloud won’t skip a beat.
“We’re thrilled to have been part of iC hitting this milestone so quickly as their technology is allowing independent property photography businesses to thrive in a time of commoditisation within the services industry.”
Fotobase Group manager director Jason Gentle says Imagecloud has been vital in handling the company’s large volumes. “The Imagecloud team have not only been very helpful and accommodating of our high standards and requirements they have done so with a smile and the same attention to detail that is important to our workflows.”
Imagecloud CEO Nalevansky says the company is achieving exponential growth. “Since this time last year, we’ve experienced a 186 per cent growth in campaigns, showing that Imagecloud is fast becoming the defacto standard for independent property photographers within Australia. This momentum has helped us make inroads with property photographers internationally.”
Company executive chairman Venter says they are currently seeing unprecedented growth in data as they recently exceeded 60 terabytes of storage. “Heading closer to spring, we’re at a terabyte per week with no sign of slowing down. Imagecloud is up for the challenge as we continue to ramp up our infrastructure to service the international market.”
Until now, similar systems were only available to photography franchise groups or employees of large service brands says Nalevansky. “However, we are unique in the space because our platform is used only by independent photographers and independent marketing businesses. This gives real estate agencies a bigger range of talented photographers to choose from who are using the most up to date technology when shooting a home’s sales campaign.”
In just over two years Imagecloud have captured an estimated 15 per cent of the real estate market in Australia and have recently started expanding into both New Zealand and North America.
“We’re using technology to reinvent property photography by empowering independent photographers to succeed. Our team is focused on the success of our users, and these milestones reaffirm our resolve,” says Nalevansky.
In addition, Imagecloud through their built-in supplier Marketplace, which is available to subscribers, offers a wide range of property marketing tools to photographers and agencies on the one platform which streamlines the marketing process. Whether a sales campaign focusses on digital, print, broadcast or all three, the services of their members includes: dozens of vetted quality retouchers, interactive floor plan creation, 3D rendering services, professional copywriting, cinematic-style real estate videos, virtual property staging, digital decluttering and all other forms of editing.
“Through technology enablers, our focus is on establishing an open and transparent platform that provides something the market has been asking for: choice. We give control back to our key stakeholders to choose products, service providers, services levels, quality and price,” says Venter.
“We’re happy that we can deliver a service which empowers independent photographers and agencies by using the best of what modern technology has to offer.”
